GLADBROOK (KWWL) -

Gladbrook-Reinbeck used big plays and a stout defense to stay unbeaten with a 38-13 district win against B-G-M.  The Rebels scored first, with a field goal following a botched snap on a B-G-M punt.  However, the Bears would put together a long drive, capped off by an 18 yard TD run by senior RB Keegan James.  The Rebels would turn to the air in the 2nd quarter.  QB Hunter Lott would connect with senior WR Walker Thede on a 65 yard TD reception to put the Rebels up 10-7.  The Rebels would add to the lead with 10.9 seconds left in the 1st half on a nifty 60 yard TD pass from Lott to senior WR Matt Johannsen to make it 17-7.  The Rebels defense would hold the Bears to 6 points in the 2nd half as they move to a 3-0 in district play.  They'll head to Grand View Friday while B-G-M hosts Hudson.
