TRAER (KWWL) -

The Hudson student section was fired up all night as their Pirates battled against North Tama in Traer.

Hudson was the team who struck early. A swing pass to Christian Seres who makes a move but then takes a big hit from Skylar Staker of North Tama.

The very next play, Cameron Fulcher took the hand off to the left side, cut it back right and away he went into the end zone. The Pirates were celebrating early, six to zero.

North Tama was looking to respond. Staker at Quarterback was flushed out of the pocket, moved right where he threw across the field. Hale Hulme came down with a marvelous catch on the back of the defender, but he lost the football and Hudson was able to fall on it. It was a questionable call whether it was a catch and fumble or a dropped pass.

Either way Hudson got the ball and two drives later. Fulcher broke one tackle and then stiff armed another arm tackle. He outran every Redhawk defender with Noah Bond just missing. Pirates were up 12-0.

A few drives later Christian Seres disappeared into the offensive line and he popped out on the right side of the end zone. Hudson continuing their offensive dominance.

Lastly, the field goal right before the halftime break, Wes Geisler booted it from 40 yards out and had a little extra.

Hudson was up 29-0 at the halftime break and went on to win 53-12.
