Dubuque Senior Girls, Decorah Boys win Rich Engel Classic Cross Country

Some of the top boys and girls cross country runners in the state at the Rich Engel Classic at Birdsall Park in Cedar Falls.

In the girls race, Dubuque took the team title, Dubuque Wahlert was third.  Decorah's Katie Nimrod was the individual winner.

The Decorah captured the team Boys title with Cedar Rapids Kennedy second.  Decorah's Andrew Kephart finished second.

    The UNI Panthers won their first meet as a Big 12 wrestling program, topping new conference foe North Dakota State. The 13th ranked Panthers clinched the meet in the final match of the day. Needing bonus points to secure the win, 141 pounder Josh Alber secured a 19-4 tech fall to give the Panthers a 21-19 team victory.
