Chris Soules appears in court

Posted: Updated:

Bachelor reality television star, Chris Soules, is accused of leaving the scene of a deadly crash, and he appeared in court Thursday.

Buchanan County authorities say Soules was involved in a fatal crash with a tractor back in April that left Kenny Mosher dead.

Thursday's hearing was short, and it barely lasted five minutes.

After Soules walked into the court room, his defense team and the state were able to reach an agreement to withdraw the Bill of Particulars.

That means the charge will stay the same, but the narrative behind the charge was changed, which gives his defense the chance to pursue a dismissal.

We were told Soules would be leaving through a specific exit by court organizers, so we would have the chance to ask him a couple questions, but that wasn't the case.

So, we followed his attorney to the front of the Buchanan County Courthouse where Soules' attorney reacted, seconds before Soules' family picked him up.

Soules' attorney, Robert Montgomery, said he had no comment, and we asked Chris Soules how he was feeling months after the crash and why he left?

However, the Bachelor star just got into a white Ford pick-up truck and left without reacting.

Despite the lack of response, we will continue to follow this story and ask questions to fully understand the details of that fatal crash.

Soules is due back in court next month, and his jury trial is set for Nov. 16.
