NEW DETAILS: Chris Soules in court

Posted: Updated:

In an agreement between State and Chris Soules' legal team, the decision reached regarding the motion will be withdrawn for bill of particulars. Soules' lawyers withdrew the motion of bill of particulars, and they are still planning to pursue the dismissal. The Judge says charges will remain the same, but the narrative behind the charges will changed to give defense the opportunity to pursue dismissal.

According to online court records, a hearing for a motion to dismiss is set for October 10. A jury trial is scheduled for November 16.

A former Iowa reality T.V. star will be back in court. Former "Bachelor" Chris Soules will be in the Buchanan County Court House today for a hearing after a deadly crash back in April. Soules is accused of leaving the scene of a deadly crash in Buchanan County when his truck hit a tractor.

Kenny Mosher, 66, was on the tractor and later died.

If Soules is convicted, he could face up to 5 years in prison.

It's important to note that today is not the start of his trial. That begins in January, and is expected to last 4 to 5 days.

You can watch it online and on Facebook for the latest.
