CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A woman is arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase.  Cedar Rapids Police say they tried to stop 37-year-old Tonkeya Jackson, of Waterloo, on U.S. Highway 30, just west of the I-380 exit.

They say Jackson refused to pull over, leading to a chase with speeds reaching 120 miles-per-hour.  Officers placed stop sticks near Mount Vernon, but she continued until going off-road and into a grassy area near Mechanicsville.

Police say Jackson's car started on fire, and she started to run away but was eventually caught and arrested.  Nobody was hurt and charges are pending.
