The very dense fog from this morning lifted to reveal some form of sunshine for most of the area. Between southeasterly winds and sunshine fighting through the clouds, expect a warmer day than Monday. Highs this afternoon reach the upper 70s to mid-80s. However, it may also feel a bit more humid today, as well.
Overnight, an isolated shower or storm is possible. Tonight will be humid, with lows into the mid and upper 60s. Winds pick up and become breezy. Even warmer air moves in for tomorrow. Most of eastern Iowa reaches the 80s Wednesday afternoon. Factoring in the humidity will make it feel like a July day. Even though summer is ending on Friday, it definitely does not feel like fall by the end of the week.
