CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Everything served in new Iowa restaurant is raw.

'Rawlicious' opened in Newbo in Cedar Rapids about two weeks ago.

They offer a large variety of things from burrito wraps to pies.

"We don't heat anything above 115 degrees so that keeps the maximum nutrition," says Owner Jessica LaFayette.

Not only is everything raw but it's vegan, gluten free, dairy free and soy free.
Josh McKinney tells us he is vegan and is enjoying the new addition to Cedar Rapids.

"It's nice to have this when I'm coming back to town because other than that there is only like one other place I can go out and eat at," he says.

LaFayette tells us she went to culinary school in California but is originally from Iowa.

She thought Newbo would be a good location to open.
"I think people are hungry they have been waiting, that's what I keep hearing over and over people are super excited that we are here," she says.

"Don't be intimidated by seeing lots of vegetables I like to tell people it's not just rabbit food so there is something here for everyone," she added.
Rawlicious is located inside Delve MIY and is open every day except Sunday.
