CORALVILLE (KWWL) -

A man has been arrested, accused of robbing a Sprint store.

Coralville Police say it happened shortly before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a man entered the store wearing a mask, pulled out a gun, and demanded new cell phones to be put inside a bag.

Employees placed several cell phones inside the bag, along with a GPS tracking device disguised as a cell phone. The man ran off, and no one got hurt.

Officers weren't able to locate the tracking device or the suspect, but later that evening, officers were told the tracking device was moving.

Police say that led them to an apartment on Boston Way. A search warrant happened at around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, and stolen cell phones were found inside the apartment.

28-year-old Jeremy Stanton initially volunteered to being taken to the police department for questioning, before later admitting to the robbery.

Stanton was arrested and charged with 1st degree robbery, a Class B felony.

He's currently being held in the Johnson County Jail.
