Mom reveals she used breast milk in school bake sale brownies
A mother claimed that she used breast milk in brownies because she "didn't have time to run to the store and didn't think it was a big deal."
The woman said in a Facebook post that she was looking for suggestions online after another woman found out about it. She said "some of those kids could use the nutrition."
The post went viral online with thousands of comments and shares.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says breastfeeeding is strongly recommended by healthcare professionals, but parents feeding milk from a source other than the baby's mother should be made in consultation with the baby's healthcare provider.
