Waterloo Police say a young man was injured in a shooting overnight.

Police believe the victim is about 20-years-old. His name is not being released at this time.

At last check, he was taken to a hospital and police believe he will be okay.

No arrests have been made.

Waterloo Police are still blocking off a scene off of Parker Street and Fairview Avenue.

It's been that way for a couple hours now.

A home appears to be at the center of their investigation after a report of shots fired overnight. Neighbors tell KWWL they heard people arguing last night, but they aren't sure what is going on.

Waterloo Police are expected to release more information later today.
