CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The United States Department of Justice says two eastern Iowa men are accused of stealing 48 guns.

John Gillespie, from Cedar Rapids, and Jeremy Reynolds, from Hiawatha, each face one count of theft of firearms from a licensed dealer. Both men are 18 years old. Reynolds was in United States District Court in Cedar Rapids yesterday for an arraignment. He'll return to court on September 18. Gillespie is scheduled to be in court for his arraignment on August 3.

If convicted, both men face up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. They would not be eligible for parole if convicted, according to the Department of Justice.
