Lafayette County, WI (KWWL) -

An Amish Buggy crash has injured a family of seven Sunday afternoon.

The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash in the 13000 block of STH 81, in Darlington Township, Wisconsin just before 2:15pm.

The sheriff's office says the Amish Buggy driven by Elam Stoltsfus, containing his wife, Susie as well as their five small children, was traveling eastbound on STH 81 when it was struck from behind by pickup truck, being operated by Richard E. Larson.

The horse and buggy were pushed into the south ditch, ejecting everyone inside.

All seven members of the Stoltzfus Family were transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County by Rural Medical Ambulance Service with injuries ranging from very severe to very minor. Larson was checked out at the scene by Argyle EMS and declined transport, reporting no injuries.

Two patients were later flown via helicopters, Air Care of Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, IA and React of Rockford, IL, to UW Hospital in Madison, WI.
