1 dead after driver fails to yield

GRANT COUNTY, Wis. (KWWL) -

One person is dead after a driver fails to yield in Grant County, according to the Grant County Sheriff's office.

The crash happened at the  intersection of Hwy 133 and Old C Road in Watterstown Township.

John Brown, age 44 of Boscobel was traveling east on Hwy 133 in a 2002 Buick when he failed to yield to a 2010 Toyota Sienna driven westbound by Jeff Robinson, age 46 of Richland Center.

Robinson was transported by Blue River EMS for minor injuries to Richland Hospital. John Brown, and his passengers, Josephine Marshall, age 66 of Boscobel and a 3 year old child, also of Boscobel, were transported to Gundersen Boscobel for their injuries. Marshall died from her injuries at the hospital. Brown was transported to UW-Hospital in Madison via Med-Flight. The 3 year old was treated for minor injuries and released from Gundersen-Boscobel.

Brown will be cited for Failure to Yield to Oncoming Traffic.
