Dubuque tradition, Fincel's Sweet Corn

Posted: Updated:

Some call it a Dubuque tradition.

People in the Tri-states have been getting their  Fincel's Sweet Corn for decades.

There was a line of people waiting to get their hands on the fresh corn, some loading up by the dozens.

"I  think what separates us, is the fact we produce the highest quality possible. We pick it fresh each morning, we give it to our customers within two, three hours, so it really is good quality that way,"  said Frank Fincel, whose farm is located in East Dubuque, Illinois.

Fincel's also sells nearly 35 other vegetables.

During its season, the  sweet corn is sold at various location, including daily in a lot on Asbury and John F. Kennedy Road in Dubuque. They also sell items on Saturdays during the Dubuque Farmer's Market.
