TAMA COUNTY (KWWL) -

The Iowa State Patrol says two people were hurt this morning in a collision along Highway 30 in Tama County.

A patrol report says the crash happened near F Avenue around 6:57 Wednesday morning. Officers say a car driven by 58-year-old Dale Blackcloud of Tama collided with 46-year-old Rosa Sanmartin's car, as Blackcloud tried to turn across Highway 30. Sanmartin is from Muscatine.

Both drivers were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. No one else was hurt in the collision, and the Iowa State Patrol says it is still investigating the accident.
