WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Waterloo Bucks erased a pair of early deficits as they rallied past La Crosse 5-3 to start the second half schedule.

The Bucks, who fell just one game shy of the first half title, tied the game at one apiece on an RBI double in to the left-centerfield gap off bat of Tyler Stover in the first inning. After falling behind 3-1, Joe Genord tied it again in the third, driving in a pair of runs on a deep double to right field. John Cable's sacrifice fly in the seventh put the Bucks ahead for good, while Drew Greenwood drove in an insurance run in the same frame.

Kyle Leahy picked up the win allowing three runs in seven innings of work.
