Child Safety Day set in honor of Lyric and Elizabeth

Posted: Updated:

The Angels Memorial Park Committee will be hosting a Child Safety Awareness Day this weekend. It will take place at Evansdale's Community Resource Center on July 9th.

The event comes just just days before the fifth anniversary of the abduction of Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins. On July 13th the two cousins went missing near Meyers Lake in Evansdale. Nearly five months later their bodies were found at Seven Bridges Park in Bremer County.
