Primetime League basketball makes a return to the Cedar Valley.

Tonight three were more games in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Cedar Valley Sportsplex in Waterloo...

And another night to shine for Iowa Hawkeye point guard Jordan Bohannon.

The former Linn-Mar star will be entering his sophomore season at Iowa.

Bohannon playing for L.L. Pelling tonight... had a solid game--shooting 10 of 22 from including five three pointers for a game high 29 points...In leading his team to a 95 to 87 victory.

Bohannon is coming off a season in which he led the Iowa Hawkeyes in three pointers... And that was a Hawkeye team that included Mr. Three pointer himself--- Peter Jok.

Its amazing when you remember that Bohannon came off the bench in his first six games---as a true freshman.

Tonight--Bohannon talked about the things he is working on in the off season to come back stronger next season.

Jordan Bohannon said, "Definitely dribble penetration and defense that's the main two I have been working on--obviously defense is not the main thing to work on in Primetime League so dribble penetration is definitely one of them but as the summer goes on that is defintely something I am in the gym working on my defensive slides that is something I need to do a better job of that this year...

Question, "One of the impressive things about you last year was your toughness and endurance throughout the year seems like you were playing better basketball at the end of the season than you were at any other time...?'

Bohannon, "Yeah, definitely I got a lot of those games under my belt---played tons of overtime games last year and we worked every single day in practice that kind of helped my endurance--every game was a step along the way.."
