An eastern Iowa man who admitted to using a child to make pornography will spend 20 years in federal prison.
Skyler Wyatt of Clarion was sentenced today after pleading guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a child in January. During a plea hearing earlier this year, Wyatt admitted to producing child pornography in 2016.
Following the prison term, Wyatt will also serve seven years of supervised release and will register as a sex offender.
The case was brought on as part of the Department of Justice's nationwide initiative Project Safe Childhood -- which works to fight the growing epidemic of child abuse and sexual exploitation.
