Today, Omega Cabinetry employees had a special visit from the 9/11 “Never Forget” mobile exhibit, as a thanks for their partnership with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who died on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
The partnership with Omega is through the "Building for America's Bravest" program, which helps build homes for wounded service members. A total of 56 homes have been built for veterans around the nation.
Samantha Vezga says, "Omega Cabinetry has partnered with us over the past three years and have delivered the top-tier most amazing quality cabinets for these homes and we really couldn't do our mission without them."
The exhibit was created to educate and pay tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11. Omega employees toured the exhibit, led by two FDNY first responders who served during 9/11.
