TRACKING: Afternoon showers possible Saturday and Sunday

Posted: Updated:
Wind Forecast Wind Forecast

The first weekend of summer starts with sunshine. Saturday morning is actually one of the warmest mornings we have until midweek. Wake up temperatures were in the 50s. A few clouds will track in as a developing front tracks in from the north. That system will bring the chance of a few showers this afternoon. Highs only reach the mid-60s to low 70s.

Overnight, we fall into the upper 40s and low 50s under mostly clear skies. The cool conditions continue into Sunday. Highs tomorrow warm to the low 60s to low 70s (more than 10° below normal for late June). A few showers are possible again during Sunday afternoon. Below normal highs last through both Monday and Tuesday before we see widespread 80°+ highs on Wednesday.
