"It was cold enough to freeze my eyelids," Plow needed to rescue plow

Cody, Wyoming (KWWL) -

Sometimes, those who are called to help need help themselves.

Snow plow drivers got stuck in a blizzard in Wyoming.

"From the plow truck to one of my wreckers, it was cold enough to freeze my eyelids in that 200 feet," said Mike Wood, Eagle Recovery owner.

"When I looked at the temperature and the situation and where they were going, I just couldn't believe it. I've never seen it like that before," said Carisa Wood.

Once they freed the plow, crews then focused on pulling out cars that were stuck in snow drifts. Many plow drivers are now going on 72 hours with little to no sleep in that state.
