WATERLOO (KWWL) -

It's a big weekend of high school wrestling at Young Arena in Waterloo.  The Battle of Waterloo features the best wrestling programs in the state in some early season dual meet competition.

In a first round meet, it is New Hampton the top ranked team in class 2A taking on Waterloo West.

At 106 pounds, Waterloo West's Temesgen Larson faces the number one ranked wrestler in class 2A Dylan Robinson of New Hampton.

Larson surprises Robinson with a couple early takedowns to take a 4-1 lead.

But Robinson rallies--scoring six unanswered points to win 7-4.

The Chickasaws dominate the rest of the meet, Noah Fenske pins West High's Jimir Anderson at heavyweight.

New Hampton rolls 73 to 4 to stay on a collision course with class 3A's top ranked West Des Moines Valley.
