The Big 12 football coaches selected their All-Big 12 teams this morning, and 11 Cyclones were awarded postseason honors for their performance on the field in 2016.

Senior Cole Netten (PK) and junior Allen Lazard (WR) were named First-Team All-Big 12, while senior Nick Fett (OL), senior Jhaustin Thomas (DL), senior Demond Tucker (DL) and junior Kamari Cotton-Moya (DB) were named to the second team. Sophomore Willie Harvey (LB), freshman Kene Nwangwu (KR), sophomore Brian Peavy (DB), senior Patrick Scoggins (OL) and senior Jomal Wiltz (DB) were honorable mention selections.

A native of Ankeny, Iowa, Netten capped off his record-setting career by leading the Big 12 and ranking third nationally in field goal percentage (94.1 pct.). Netten made 16-of-17 field goal attempts on the year and set the school record for consecutive field goals made at 15.

Netten is the most accurate kicker in school history (79.4 pct.) and the school's all-time leading scorer with 300 points.

Lazard, who hails from Urbandale, Iowa, recorded one of the finest seasons by a wide receiver in school history in 2016. Lazard became just the fourth player in ISU history to reach the 1,000-yard barrier (1,018) in receiving yards and caught 69 passes, the second-best season total in the Cyclone record book.

Lazard also broke the school record for 100-yard receiving games with six.
