UPDATE: Names released of those hurt in crash south of Hudson

HUDSON (KWWL) -

UPDATE: Jean Dory Ngasil Okwo, 25, of Waterloo was attempting to pass a semi-tractor trailer when he collided with an oncoming truck on Highway 63.

The truck was driven by Jeffrey Salasek, 36, of Buckingham.

The semi-tractor trailer was being driven by Robert Dean Irwin, 42, of Omaha. There is no damage to the semi.

UPDATE:  2 people have been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash this morning on Highway 63.

The crash involved a semi, a truck and a car south of Hudson.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says a car tried to pass the semi, lost control and hit a truck going the other way.

Authorities say one person in the car was taken to the hospital along with one person from the truck.

Highway 63 is closed in both directions where the crash happened.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a bad crash on Highway 63 south of Hudson.

Two cars and a semi were involved in the crash.

A medical helicopter has now landed at the scene.
