People in Dubuque braving the cold weather to raise money for a good cause.
Nearly 200 of them, including various teams taking part in this year's Polar Plunge.
The frigid temps not stopping them from taking a quick dip in the Mississippi River.
Many dressed up in costumes, while some wore barely anything. "Right now I'm pretty cold, I have to say. Other than that, not too bad...the water was a lot warmer, I think I might go back in there later, take another dip," said Tom Coffman who's part of team Red Solo Cup.
At last check, nearly $40,000 has been raised through this event. Money raised will benefit the Special Olympic Winter Games in Dubuque.
