The Dons came out ready to chase the second state football title in school history -

and their offense had it rolling early - already up 6, nothing as Austin Svoboda broke free on a a 66 yard touchdown run - 12, zip Dons -

to the second quarter - Caleb Rigdon - switched to number 13 in honor of his sister's fiance - who passed away this week - kept the Dons rolling with a 48 yard touchdown reception - an emotional moment putting his team up 24-14 at half --

"It meant a lot to me, and I'm hoping it meant a lot to my family and everyone that's been affected by this. It's really special for me."

second half - Harris-Lake Park made it a game as Kyle Jordan hauled in a 9 yard touchdown strike from Bryce Perkins - the score pulled the Wolves within 3 -

But Don Bosco put it away down the stretch - Austin Hellman breaks loose on a 62 yard touchdown run - while the Dons defense sealed the door late -

In class A - defending champion Gladbrook-Reinbeck looked to finish things against Bishop Garrigan -

but they'd have to play from behind - on a 4th and 15 - Garrigan's Joel Vaske hauls in the touchdown pass from Brad Capisisus - 13, nothing Golden Bears -

But the Rebels found the endzone in the second - Parker Bown from the 10 - he pulls the Rebels within striking distance - down 13, 7 -

then following a turnover - it's Hunter Lott on the keeper - and Lott isn't about to be stopped - 10 yards for the score - G-R rallied to take a 14, 13 lead at the half -

Same score in the third - but Garrigan's Capisius hits Vaske for the second time in the game - the Golden Bears take a 19, 14 lead with under 10 to go -

Gladbrook-Reinbeck score - 1:51 - 1:57

but G-R gets it done in the end - Lott to the endzone for Matt Johannson - that's the game winner as Gladbrook-Reinbeck goes back to back with a 20, 19 win
