CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

An Iowa man who murdered two homeless people is sentenced to 100 years in prison.  Travis Standlee convicted in the deaths of Raymond Ursino and Sharon Mead.

Mead's body was found in September of 2015 near the Coe College campus in Cedar Rapids.  Prosecutors say Standlee killed Mead the day after he was arrested on suspicion of killing Ursino in the parking lot of a Cedar Rapids church.

He was originally released due to lack of evidence at the time.  The two 50-year sentences for Second Degree Murder will run one after the other.
