Iowa gas prices fall to $2.11 a gallon

Iowa gas prices have fallen roughly 2.6 cents a gallon in the last week to an average of $2.11 a gallon.

According to GasBuddy, the national average has fallen 4.9 cents per gallon to $2.15 a gallon.

Gas prices in Iowa on Sunday were 15.1 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago, and are 10.2 cents a gallon lower than a month ago.

GasBuddy finds prices in the region as follows:


Quad Cities- $1.99/g, down 4.0 cents per gallon from last week's $2.03/g.
Des Moines- $2.23/g, down 9.6 cents per gallon from last week's $2.33/g.
Omaha- $2.13/g, down 6.7 cents per gallon from last week's $2.20/g.
