Over the next two months -- there will be a lot of attention around who Donald Trump will choose to serve in his administration.
Some are wondering if any Iowans will be in the mix. Trump has had complimentary things to say about Iowa's leaders in the past.
Speaking about Governor Branstad Sunday, Trump said "I think there is no one that knows more about trade than him. He's one of the ones dealing with China, you would be our prime candidate to take care of China."
Trump's comment fueled speculation Branstad could be Trump's Ambassador to China. In September, Branstad hosted business people from china and talked soybean deals.
But does Branstad want the job?
"I'm not interested in living overseas," said Branstad to WHO-TV. "I have 7 grandchildren here in Iowa. I love this job as Governor of the state of Iowa and I want to continue to serve the people of Iowa."
He added -- Trump has not asked him to serve in the position. When asked about serving as Secretary of Agriculture, Branstad said he doesn't want to live in Washington.
