A woman in New Mexico says she was accused by Walmart security of lying about her pregnancy and accused of stuffing stolen goods down her shirt.

Patricia Pautke says she headed to the Walmart in Sante Fe to browse the Halloween section.

But as she was leaving, she says she was stopped by a store employee who asked her if she was pregnant... and then asked her to lift up her shirt to prove she wasn't hiding anything.

"I've never heard of this happening before, and how humiliated and embarrassed I was that they didn't even take me into a room," said Pautke.

Patricia says she filed a police report..

She also spoke with a manager of that Walmart who apologized after watching the surveillance video.

Walmart issued a statement saying "We're sorry for the experience Mrs. Pautke had in our store. We take this seriously and are looking into it. we will take action as appropriate."
