Names released of people involved in Linn County accident

We now know the names of the names of those involved in a deadly Linn County crash.

The driver of a 2007 Chevy Aveo has been identified as 37-year-old Jennifer Perez. She and her 4-year-old child were transported to St. Luke's Hospital with what appears to be serious injuries. Now, they are at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Two rear passengers in the Aveo were pronounced dead at the scene. They were a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old.

A 14-year-old in the Aveo is suffering life-threatening injuries. She's in the University of Iowa Hospital this afternoon.

A 16-year-old is uninjured along with an 8-year-old.

35-year-old Keith Furne is suffering non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation

LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -Two people are dead, three seriously injured after a crash involving three vehicles in Linn County.  It happened near County Home and North Troy Roads.

Authorities say a pickup truck and a car were waiting to make a left-handed turn when they were both rear-ended by a different pickup.   

The victims' names are not being released at this time.
