Parade, rally set for this morning in Chicago for World Series Champs

Posted: Updated:

A victory parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. today to celebrate the Chicago Cubs' first World Series title since 1908.

The team will leave Wrigley Field and end up at Grant Park around noon for a rally.

Last year, about two million people showed up to celebrate the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup -- the team's third championship in six years.

The crowd this year for the Cubs is expected to be enormous, given fans have waited for this victory for decades.
