Inmate escapes from Waterloo work release facility

The Iowa Department of Corrections is asking for the public's help in finding an inmate that left for work release and didn't come back.

Armando Adame III failed to return on Thursday. He was transferred to a Waterloo work release facility on June 22, 2016.

He's been sentenced to 25 years for first degree burglary and possession of a firearm.

Adame III has tattoos on his back, left and right calf, chest, left hand, and left wrist. He also has scars on his back, left forearm, right hand, neck, and both shoulders. He is 6' 0" and 177 pounds.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call police.
