UPDATE: 2 killed in crash near Clarksville

UPDATE: The Iowa State Patrol says Andrew Baker also died in the crash. He was 28.


UPDATE: A man has died and two others are injured after a car crashes. It happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. Thursday night in Butler County near Clarksville.

The Iowa State Patrol says the car was on County Road C33 when the car went off the road and hit a box culvert.

Jeffrey Dewitt, of Shellrock, died. He was 41.

44-year-old Matthew Dewitt and 28-year-old Andrew Baker were also injured. They were sent to a hospital in Waverly for treatment.

The Iowa State Patrol is still investigating the crash.

UPDATE:  One person was killed in the crash, according to the Iowa State Patrol.  The victims' names have not been released.


Authorities are responding to a serious crash in Butler County.  Iowa State Troopers say it happened near Clarksville.  

Three people were hurt, and the injuries are believed to be serious, and an Air-Care helicopter is on its way to the scene.  Stay with KWWL for updates.
