Home vandalized for Clinton-Kaine signs

Posted: Updated:

As we get closer to the election, more Iowans are reporting their political signs stolen or vandalized.

According to a Clinton-Kaine supporter who has lived in Waterloo for 14 years, their home was vandalized Thursday with paint.

They believe their home was targeted, because they had Clinton-Kaine signs posted on their front door.

They say the same night, neighbors had several signs vandalized and even taken from their yards.

This KWWL viewer says their Clinton signs have been stolen twice before the paint incident.

After cleaning up Saturday, they noticed someone came back Saturday night into Sunday morning and dumped oil on their front door.

According to this viewer, they've reported the incident to Waterloo Police.
