CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

UPDATE: In recent months, Jacobsen posted threatening Facebook messages to his page. One from last May reads, "I'm craving murder. It's all up in my thoughts."

We reached out to Cedar Falls Police who responded by saying, "We are aware of his Facebook posts, and that is part of the on-going investigation."

Police also said there are no new details at this time regarding the victims' conditions.

We went back to University Avenue Studios today where several residents say they feel uneasy about the situation.

The names of those involved in a stabbing attack at an apartment complex have been released Monday.

Police say 28-year-old Adam Jacobsen stabbed two people multiple times. He's charged with two counts of attempted murder.

The victims are 62-year-old Jeffery Miller and 47-year-old Denice Bennett.

The incident happened at University Avenue Studios in Cedar Falls. All three people involved live there, but police believe the victims were randomly chosen.

A tenant who lives in University Avenue Studios tells KWWL what he knows.

"Supposedly our manager Denice Bennett was stabbed and she was awake when they took her away in the ambulance, that's all we know, we don't know who did it and who else was affected by the whole situation," said Sean Ward, Cedar Falls.

People who work across the street from the apartments say they heard a woman screaming and yelling for help.

Caution tape roped off the area around the crime scene, but Ward got a closer look, "yeah there is some blood."

He says it all happened right in front of the office. Where police officers could be seen collecting evidence.

"They are taking pictures of everything in front of the office, in the front and back of the vehicle where the incident took place," said Ward.

For now the tenants are hoping for the best after this scary incident

At this time police say Miller has multiple potentially life threatening injuries and Bennett has multiple serious injuries.
