CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

All-time leader in Iowa Hawkeye touchdown Marvin McNutt helps to propel young players to the next level in football as the new head coach of the Cedar Rapids Titans, an indoor arena football team.

It was announced this week that McNutt would be the new head coach of the team. After four seasons with the Hawkeyes, McNutt went on to play three seasons in the NFL.

"The most exciting job I've ever had in my life so far besides playing in the NFL," McNutt said.

McNutt plans to use his experience both collegiality and professionally to help players move up in the football ranks.

"Their goal is to get to that next level to get back into the rankings to play in the next level. That's my only dream for them and myself going forward is to put a lot of those guys into the level where they want to be," he said.

In three seasons, McNutt played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, and the Carolina Panthers.
