Cedar Rapids man injured in southeast Iowa crash

MUSCATINE COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Cedar Rapids man is injured after a crash in Muscatine County.

26-year-old Eric Osborn was traveling eastbound on Highway 61 shortly after 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon when he attempted to turn onto Vail Avenue. The Iowa State Patrol says he failed to yield, hitting another driver. 

The driver of that car was 48-year-old William Morrissey of Bettendorf. He was not hurt.

His passenger, 73-year-old Sharon Morrissey was injured. Both Osborn and Morrissey were taken to a Davenport hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
