Iowa gas prices stay at $2.21/gallon; unchanged from last week

Gas prices in Iowa haven't changed in the past week, averaging $2.21 a gallon Sunday.

GasBuddy reports the national average increased 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.25 a gallon.

Prices Sunday were 30.2 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago, and 0.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average increased 7.9 cents per gallon during the last month.

GasBuddy finds prices in and around Iowa reporting as follows:


Quad Cities- $2.12/g, up 2.5 cents per gallon from last week's $2.09/g.
Des Moines- $2.34/g, flat  from last week's $2.34/g.
Omaha- $2.25/g, up 1.4 cents per gallon from last week's $2.23/g.
