From Waverly-Shell Rock to the White House

Cooking and eating a meal at the White House.

That's what one Waverly Middle School student gets to do this week.

Today, Waverly- Shell Rock Middle Schooler Olivia Eckerman leaves for the White House.

She's going to prepare and eat a meal with the First Lady and kids from all over the world.

The food in the meal will be directly from the White House garden.

This event is part of the First Lady's Let's Move Initiative, which encourage kids to eat healthy and stay active.

At the meal, Olivia will be representing her state, her school, and the Fuel Up to Play 60 Club.

It's a club that can be found not only at Waverly- Shell Rock Midldle School, but all over the country.

The club has similar goals to Michelle Obama's Let's Move Initiative.

Olivia was chosen for this unique opportunity after she won a contest at the Fuel Up to Play 60 National Summit.
