Red Cross resource centers for flood victims

The Red Cross is opening Community Resource Centers to help those dealing with flooding.

They'll have cleanup supplies, food and water at the centers. Red Cross workers will also help connect flood victims to the resources available to them.

A center will be open today in Vinton from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. It will be at Benton County Emergency Management, 213 2nd Ave., Vinton.

A center will be open in Cedar Falls Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Fire Station #2 on Lone Tree Road.

Thursday and Friday a center will be open in Waverly at the Waverly Civic Center. Hours will be 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday.
