DECORAH (KWWL) -

This picture shows the kind of man who Mark Rollins was, an avid outdoorsman.

About two weeks ago, he was reported missing in the Crazy Mountains region of Montana. Then a week later, his body was found at the bottom of a cliff.

KWWL News spoke with his wife Ede in Decorah. She says something had to go wrong. He was an experienced hunter, and this wasn't his first trip to Montana.

Ede says this has left a void in her life. Not only do they own the restaurant, Ede's and the Angry Pickle together. They also have two young boys, ages 13 and 11. They idolized their dad.

Frequent customers of the restaurant say you could often find Mark cooking in the kitchen. His boys would sometimes be back there too.

His wife says he touched so many people through his food and loved sharing his culinary knowledge.

The family really is having a hard time. Ede says this just wasn't supposed to happen...they had plans for the future.

She also mentioned because of how Mark died, she cannot bring his body home. Instead, he will have to be cremated.
