Police investigating reports of several people shot with BB guns

Dubuque police are investigating multiple people being shot at with BB guns.

They all occurred over the weekend, on Sunday.

Police responded to the area of 24th and Jackson Streets on a report of a passing vehicle shooting BB pellets at people. 

According to Lt. Scott Baxter, two men say they were shot at numerous times. One of the pellets struck Robert Riddell, 32, in the back. Ronnie Ehlers, 55,  was also struck. 

Another report was received by a woman who was walking on the 2400 block of Jackson. A car pulled up next to her displaying the BB gun and began shooting in her direction. She was not injured. 

Later around noon, a parent reported her 15-year old son was shot in the face with a BB gun by someone riding in a car in the area of Audubon School.

Also, another group of juveniles report the same experience in the area of Marshall School. They suffered minor injuries.

So far,  there have been no arrests.
