North Fayette Valley crushes Oelwein 51-8

North Fayette Valley traveled to Oelwein looking for their fifth win of the season to stay undefeated.

The Tigerhawks showed why they're a top ranked 2A team as they piled on 21 points within minutes of the first quarter.

North Fayette Valley continued their dominance through the air with a 50 yard strike from Tate Hovden to Jesse Mackey. Trey Kuhens scored on a one yard run to give the Tigerhawks a 28-0 lead.

The Tigerhawk offense kept rolling with a strong rushing attack by Tanner Kuhens. Tate Hovden found Chase Hollinrake on a wide receiver screen for a ten yard score to extend North Fayette Valley's lead to 37.

Oelwein looked to battle back early in the second quarter until Chase Hollinrake picked off a Dillon Arndt pass. Hollinrake scored on a 65 yard return for a touchdown.  North Fayette Valley won big 51-8 to remain undefeated on the season.
