Cedar Rapids Officials: Press conference at 2:00 pm discussing possible flooding

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids officials say there will be a press conference at 2:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall to provide additional updates on weather and flooding.

We have crews in Cedar Rapids who report that the Cedar River is moving very quickly through the downtown area.

Crews are continuing to monitor river levels and low-lying areas. Roads will be closed as needed. Management team members for different departments will share more about flood response preparations as more information become available.
