A new survey reveals an important back to school supply many parents forget about. They mean a family dinner. According to a survey by the Food Marketing Institute and Rodale inc., as many families send their children back to school, many parents are forgetting to supply..the family meal. The survey revealed only 57% of parents eat dinner with their children every night. At the same time, 71% of parents did say in their "ideal" world, they would want to eat with their children every night. The FMI Foundation is encouraging Americans to join the national family meals month movement by pledging to have one more breakfast, lunch or dinner at home per week.
