AMES (KWWL) -

Iowa State turned the ball over three times in the final six minutes as UNI came in to Ames and waltzed out with a 25-20 win over the Cyclones.

After trailing most of the first half, UNI's Aaron Bailey scored on a two yard dive on the final play before the break to give the Panthers a 16-13 halftime lead. They added to that with Austin Errthum's first field goal as a Panther, a 22 yard chip shot that put UNI up 19-13 late in the 3rd quarter.

Iowa State regained the lead on a 33 yard bomb from Joel Lanning to Allen Lazard in the endzone near the left sideline, but Lanning's interception on the next drive gave UNI the ball in great field position. The Panthers took advantage as J'Veyon Browning scored from the one for a late 25-20 lead.

Iowa State's final two drives ended on a lost fumble from Mike Warren, while Jared Farley later picked off Lanning with under a minute remaining to seal the win.

The victory was the 3rd for the Panthers in the last six games at Iowa State.
