ANAMOSA (KWWL) -

Senator Grassley and Patty Judge's campaign are weighing on Donald Trump's proposed border wall with Mexico.

After visiting with the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, Trump reaffirmed his desire for a border wall in an immigration speech.

"They don't know it yet, but they're going to pay for the wall. And they're great people and great leaders but they're going to pay for the wall. On day one, we will begin working on an impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall," Trump says.

President Nieto says Mexico will not pay for the wall.

Senator Chuck Grassley is supporting Trump for president.

"I'm gonna vote for Donald Trump," he told us.

Sen. Grassley held a town hall in Anamosa today where we caught up with him.

"I've supported the wall, I have supported the financing of the wall and that doesn't mean a physical wall all the way across the border," he says.

While Trump describes a physical wall Sen. Grassley believes there are other options.

"Some physical wall, some virtual wall that could be electronics that could be drones etc. etc," he told us.

Senate candidate Patty Judge's Campaign Manager Sam Roecker also weighed in.

"She does not support Donald Trump's position on that," Roecker says.

Instead he slammed Grassley for supporting Donald Trump.

"Whether it's the wall, his attacks on the gold star family, his attacks on women and people with disabilities, Chuck Grassley has stood there," says Roecker.

Meanwhile, Trump is standing by his plan.

"We're gonna build the wall. Mexico's gonna pay for the wall. We're gonna stop drugs from coming in. We've gotta stop the drugs from pouring into our states," Trump says.
